Nicknamed the "comeback kid" by her family, she endured one setback after another, but still continued to fight. She is survived by her two cats, two brothers, five sisters, five nieces and nephews, and her mother, Mary L.

Flock of Lawrenceville. She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Chamblin Flock. Amy was born in Albany, Georgia on June 15, 1963. She attended Immaculate Heart of Mary Eleman-tary, Fernbank Elementary, and Druid Hills High School. She graduated from Georgia Tech with a degree in Civil Engineering.

Not long after starting work at Columbia Engineering, she was diagnosed with cancer. Her Columbia Engineering family stood by her throughout her entire illness and was a great support to her family. Amy loved crafts scrap-booking, decoupage, and decorating magnets. Her family looked forward each year to her calendars. She would keep the theme a secret and ceremoniously pass the calendars out at Christmas.

Her calendar themes ranged from houses that the family had lived in to a detailed family history spanning several generations. She collected the family recipes into a cookbook. Amy also wrote poetry and used her computer to record a CD of her singing show tunes. Amy had an adventurous spirit and loved to travel. Amy wasn't just a devoted sister and daughter; she was also a mentor and took new employees under her wing.

Amy decorated and delivered miniature Christmas trees to hospice and women's shelters, and she taught introductory computer classes for women through St. Margaurite Catholic Church. Amy touched many lives and will be remembered for her quick wit, intelligence, creativity, and candor. He was a member of the Crystal Creek Hunt Club in Warren Washington County, and was a member of the Dacula Masonic Lodge 433 where he was past Worshipful Master in 1955 and again in 1967. Joe grew up in NJ and upon high school graduation, he joined and proudly served in the US Navy submarine service for 4 years. Joe had incredible artistic ability and received a degree in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. His talent and ability took he and his family to live in NJ, CO, FL, Atlanta, SC, and finally back to Atlanta to be near his children. Joe was a lover of life, family, children, animals and nature. He would want to be remembered as a loving father and husband, gentleman, and a loyal friend, and full of fun and laughter.

Dr. Reid went on to teach with DeKalb County Schools and ended this wonderful career as the principal of Dunaire Elementary School. Dr. Reid was an accomplished horticulturist and propagated many varieties of azaleas, day lilies, camellias and other plants, a passion that carried to the end. He is survived by his wife; Lina Reid of Stockbridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathy Reid and Richard Olson of Indianola, IA, Linda and Keri Robinson of Stockbridge; grandchildren, Alicia (Andy) Kohn of McGuire AFB in NJ, Kristopher (Katie) Robinson, of Whiteman AFB in M0; great-grandchildren, Ben Robinson, and Kellie and Amanda Kohn; sister, Margaret Iriel of Walterboro, SC and several nieces and nephews.
